Chuck joined in May of 1992. The most remarkable feature of his layout was the full sized redwood tree growing up through the middle. The shape of the layout was a dog bone with a 90 degree turn more or less in the middle. Most of the layout was at one end of the yard, with a. simple loop at the far end,
These pictures were taken on September 10, 2011. There is an article about Chuck's memorial service on the History page.
Chuck died in June, 2014. The layout appears to have been dismantled. The redwood tree still shows up in satellite photos.
